INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE HOT THERAPY - helps treat muscle and joint pain/stiffness and relax muscles, including sports injuries, sinusitis, menstrual cramps etc. Hot Water: put Disc in heat resistant bowl, pour in boiling water and leave Disc immersed for 4-10 minutes, (depending on Disc size) or until desired temperature is reached OR Microwave: place Disc in microwavable container, cover with boiling water and heat for 30 seconds (if at room temp) and 1 minute (from frozen), based on 600W microwave. Increase heating time in 10 second intervals to reach desired temperature. COLD THERAPY - helps reduce muscle/joint swelling and sooth aches and pains including backache, fever, toothache etc. Freeze: store Disc in freezer. Approximately 1 hour is required to freeze gel. To reduce swelling, 10 - 20 min on, then 20 min off, then repeat if necessary. ATTENTION - *Before placing on affected a always test Disc temperature on back of hand to avoid skin/freezer burn and/or wrap the Disc in a cloth before applying directly to skin - Microwave: ensure to reduce heating time for Disc for higher powered microwaves AND never heat Disc in microwave without water, dry heat may damage pack and overheat gel - Do not use Disc, HOT or COLD on affected a for more then 20 minutes at a time - Never apply Disc to wounded or damaged skin - If a rash develops, pain is prolonged or conditions worsen, discontinue use of Disc and consult a physician
